Higher Education

1. Spartanburg Community College/Downtown Campus: Historic renovation and restoration of the old Spartanburg High School.  The 108,000 sq. ft. building includes classrooms, labs, administrative areas, an auditorium, and a gymnasium. The building will be a LEED silver certification (occupied 2013).
2. Virginia Osteopathic College: new 62,000 sq. ft. four year medical college, with anatomy labs, lecture halls, classrooms, and administrative areas. The anatomy labs featured 100% fresh air ventilation, and with energy recovery. Spartanburg, S.C. (2012)
3. USC Upstate, Johnson Business School: new 60,000 sq. ft. academic building, LEED designed, Spartanburg, S.C. (2010).
4. Wofford College Environmental Studies Center: renovation of a historic 1890’s textile mill administrative office into academic building that is LEED Platinum rated, Spartanburg, S.C. (2010)
5. Spartanburg Community College Library: a new 43,000 sq. ft main library bldg. (2006)
6. Wofford College: new 100 bed dormitory, 30,000 sq. ft.; includes upgrading an existing chilled water energy plant from 200 tons to 450 tons capacity, Spartanburg, S.C. (2004)
7. Wofford College: total mechanical and architectural renovation/restoration of the college’s original 1854’s administration building, 28,000 sq. ft, Spartanburg, S.C. (2004)
8. Wofford College Central Energy Plant: a new 500 ton central chilled water plant and a new 250 horsepower central heating boiler plant. The new plant serves approximately 25% of the campus (chiller plant completed 2003, heating plant completed 2004).
9. Spartanburg Community College: new 750 ton central chilled water plant plus 700 tons future capacity, conversion of existing constant flow hydronic systems to variable flow (2002). Plant upgraded to 1,350 tons capacity. (2008)
10. Spartanburg Community College: new 60,000 sq. ft. Student Life & Administrative Building. (2001)
11. Spartanburg Community College: New 75,000 sq. ft. Health Sciences Classroom Facility. (1999)
12. Wofford Science Building: a new 3 story 60,000 sq. ft. state-of-the art college laboratory facility featuring a variable-volume central fume exhaust system. This project also included a new central energy plant (530 tons cooling and 275 boiler horsepower) to serve three of the campus main buildings. (1999)
13. USC Upstate, Hodge Center: a 30,000 sq. ft. renovation to an athletic and classroom facility, and a 450-ton refrigeration machine addition on the campus central energy plant. (1998)
